Remembering Jim Buzzard – Buzzard Australian Cattle Dogs

We received the sad news that Jim Buzzard passed away today, Tuesday, November 21st.

Jim Buzzard was the proud breeder of Buzzard Australian Cattle Dogs. He was recognized for his successful and influential breeding program as AKC’s 2014 Breeder of The Year representing the Herding Group. Mr. Buzzard had been intimately involved with the Australian Cattle Dog Breed beginning in the early 1960s. Notably, Ch. Buzzard’s Red Tubs sired 90 champions, a record for Australin Cattle Dogs. Buzzard Australian Cattle Dogs produced nearly 400 AKC Champions.

The Canine Chronicle extends sincere condolences to Mr. Buzzard’s family and friends during this time. He will be missed.
