Aquapaw Launches World’s First Wearable Water-Sprayer Massager Pet Bathing Tool on Kickstarter
Aquapaw, LLC has launched their first product, the Aquapaw Pet Bathing Tool, through Kickstarter, with the goal of raising $42,000. Their product is the world’s first wearable combination water-sprayer and scrubber that can be turned on and off by simply making a fist. It’s one-size-fits-all design allows you to better control your pet as well as the flow of water while you clean your best friend. If successful, the funds will be used to invest in the up front manufacturing costs of bringing their revolutionary pet bathing product to market.
The Aquapaw has a button in its center that, when pressed, will toggle the flow of water spraying from the tips of rubber nubs in the center of the palm on and off. When turned on and pressed into a canine’s fur, the Aquapaw injects water deep to their coat, speeding up the rinsing process and eliminating much off the spraying water that can intimidate most dogs. The overall design is slim, flexible, and unobtrusive enough that it is extremely easy to keep control of your pet with both hands while at the same time giving you instant control over the flow of water. It quick-connects to either a garden hose or shower using the custom adapters included with every product.
Aquapaw, LLC was founded by Daniel Lentz, a professional Industrial Designer who grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia, bathing his family’s dogs. He always thought there was a better way to keep their pets clean and for the past two years has been building and testing prototypes with his friends, family, and local pet owners to finalize the design. In order to afford the initial investment for tooling this product, Daniel built a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter and is now finally ready to offer this product to the public.
“At Aquapaw, we are extremely excited to improve how we bathe our pets and turn this chore into a bonding experience.” – Daniel Lentz
MSRP for the Aquapaw is $29.99 and Kickstarter backers will be able to pre-purchase it at a discount. More info on the project can be found here: Aquapaw: Pet Bathing in the Palm of Your Hand
