Road Closure Alerts For Crufts Competitors
The Kennel Club is alerting anyone travelling to Crufts of road closures in the West Midlands area which may affect journeys to and from the NEC in Birmingham.
The Highways Agency has released the following details:
- M42 Junction 6 (NEC Junction), West Midlands. Carriageway works.
The Southbound Exit Slip will be closed from 2 March to 7 March between 10pm and 5am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
- M42 Junction 2 to 3, West Midlands. Carriageway works.
The Northbound carriageway will be closed from 2 March to 6 March between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
- M42 – M5 Jct 4 to M42 Jct 2, West Midlands. Carriageway works.
The Northbound carriageway will be closed from 4 March to 5 March between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
- M5 Junction 4, West Midlands. Carriageway works.
The north and southbound carriageway will be closed from 2 March to 8 March between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
- M6 Junction 13 to 12 , West Midlands. Carriageway works.
The Southbound carriageway will be closed from 10pm and 6am 2 March to 7 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted or alternatively there is the M6 Toll that will bypass these works.
The Kennel Club would advise anyone travelling via these routes to consider planning an alternate route to minimise inconvenience.
