Southern Handlers Charity League in OKC – “Tim, Butcher The Beard” & So Much More!

The Southern Handlers Charity League is a charitable organization consisting of professional handlers that give back to those in the dog show community who are in need. Members of the Southern Handlers Charity League have been diligently working on their summer fundraiser, “Tim, Butcher the Beard!”, for many weeks. You might have seen their ad in the June issue of The Canine Chronicle. The summer fundraiser has been a tremendous success and has raised over $20,000, therefore, Tim James will be clean shaven on Friday night. The culmination of the fundraiser is this weekend at the  Oklahoma City Summer Classic cluster of dog shows.

In addition to the “Tim, Butcher The Beard!” finale, the Southern Handlers Charity league is hosting a variety of fun events over the weekend, including a raffle, fun match, handler relay, JAC workshop and a Purina Runway show. On Friday evening, a catered dinner by Ingrid’s Kitchen will be available for purchase.
