November 1 is National Cook for Your Pets Day!

Four-Legged Friends Always Welcome at Maryland’s Four Diamond Resort

Celebrating “National Cook for Your Pets Day” on November 1, Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina is thrilled to announce amenities designed to make our four-legged guests feel right at home, including unique dog-friendly menu selections from the K$9 Dinner Menu that has been approved by Dr. Michelle Allen of Choptank Animal Hospital.

While enjoying a spectacular view of the Choptank River at Blue Point Provision Company, our four-legged friends can choose from a variety of fresh lunch and dinner options: Muttloaf, Grrrrld Chicken, and a Veggie Smooothie, as well as a frozen popsicle and Hound Dog Biscuit for dessert.

Upon check-in at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay, guests and their dogs are greeted with treats, waste bags, a water bowl, a dog bed, and a “dog on vacation” door hanger. They are then directed to one of the resort’s designated dog-friendly guest rooms on the ground level, providing easy outdoor access.

“The coming months are ideal along the Eastern Shore of Maryland for taking long walks, exploring the local culture of Cambridge, and indulging in fresh gourmet meals, especially with a canine companion,” said General Manager Joel Bunde.

For those looking to get away soon with man’s best friend, the Waterfowl Festival, taking place November 9-11, provides the perfect centerpiece for an action-packed weekend. The Festival is an annual tradition unique to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, with a variety of events, from art exhibitions and music, to fabulous food and the World Championship Waterfowl Calling Competition, all benefitting Waterfowl Chesapeake’s restoration and conservation efforts. As a sponsor of the event, Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay’s Blue Point Provision Company will host the Yappy Hour, located at the Sportsman Pavilion Beer tent on Friday, November 9 from 4:30– 6:30PM, showcasing the new K$9 Dinner Menu for dogs along with Blue Point’s famous crab guacamole for their two-legged owners.

For reservations, call 800-757-1452 or visit chesapeakebay.regency.hyatt.com.
