Golden Retriever Fancier To Compete on CBS Reality Show – Survivor – Blood vs. Water

Golden Retriever fancier, Colton Cumbie, has returned as a contestant on the popular CBS reality television show, Survivor – Blood vs. Water, to compete for the one million dollar grand prize. In a unique twist, Colton’s fiancé, Caleb Bankston, is also a contestant on the show. This season of Survivor consists of two competing tribes, one comprised of past contestants and one comprised of past contestants’ loved ones.

Colton first appeared as a contestant on Survivor – One World, but was medically evacuated out of the competition due to a severe stomach illness. Survivor – One World was the twenty-fourth season of Survivor and was televised in the winter of 2012.

Colton is not the first dog show fancier to appear on Survivor. Shetland Sheepdog breeder and handler,  Jane Hammett-Bright was a fierce competitor on Survivor-Nicaragua.
