Westminster Kennel Club Best In Show Winner Rufus Passes Away

New York, NY - We are sorry to share the sad news of the passing of Ch. Rocky Top’s Sundance Kid – known to his fans as “Rufus.” In addition to winning Best in Show at the National Dog Show in 2005, Rufus was the first Colored Bull Terrier to win Best in Show at Westminster. His record includes 35 all breed Best in Shows, 128 Best in Group firsts, and the BTCA National Speciality on three occasions. Rufus was the most successful Colored Bull Terrier Show Dog of all time. Upon his retirement, Rufus went on to charm everyone he met as a Therapy Dog.

Rest in Peace, Rufus.
