Update! West Volusia Kennel Club

-As everyone knows, because of the State of Florida commandeering the Volusia County Fairgrounds for COVID testing, we were left without a venue and had to cancel the September 19-20, 2020 dog show.

Understanding that nothing happens in the snap of a finger, the West Volusia Kennel Club Board and show committee have been working non-stop since the notification of cancelation and in just a few days we do have some very good news to share with you.

Thanks to the generosity and kindness of Phil Briasco, Connie Sager and the Ocala Dog Club, we have a venue and a new date. We will have our show on October 24-25, 2020 at the Ocala site pending AKC approval which is in the works.

Here is what you need to know about the show:

Your entries will be automatically moved into this show. You don’t have to do a thing.

If you are unable to attend on these dates, contact MB-F to cancel and have a full refund.

If your puppies are aged out of the class you entered them in, contact MB-F with your entry information to make class adjustments. Please remember, they are bending over backward to help us and they will be busy, so please be kind and be patient.

There are judge changes, the new Premium List should be up on the AKC site late next week, don’t forget this is a holiday weekend so everything is running behind. When the new Premium List is available we will have it on our website,(wvkc.org ) and our Facebook page.

Because we are outdoors and social distancing should be a little easier, we can open entries back up with a cap of 1650.

The new closing date is October 7 or when the limit is reached.

There is no Fast Cat and no Dock Diving. Also there is no Pee Wee Event this year. The Eye Clinic is canceled.

Motorhomes will require a reservation, it will be in the Premium List.

There is no reserved grooming. Anyone that paid for Reserved Grooming is being 100% refunded.
