Stolen Crufts Champion Reunited With Owner
Mal Hilton was delighted to be reunited with his five chihuahuas yesterday, after they were taken during a home invasion last Thursday in Driffield. The intruders took many expensive items, as well as the five chihuahuas, one of which is a previous Crufts champion.
The chihuahuas were found 125 miles away where they had been abandoned on a farm, lacking food and water. A local man spotted the dogs and called authorities, who identified the dogs by their microchips. He had also seen the many pleas on social media sites.
The five chihuahuas are now reunited with their owner. One of the chihuahuas was the fourteen month old fawn longcoat called, Xena, Valenchino Made of Candy. She has been successful at many shows and was also Best Puppy at Crufts 2014.
