Remembering Jane Thibault – Nashau Auke Newfoundlands

The Canine Chronicle is saddened to hear of the the recent passing of Jane Thibault of Nashau Auke Newfoundlands. Jane was a staple in the Newfoundland arena for over fifty years, having bred many Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show, and Register of Merit Newfoundlands. The Nashau Auke Newfoundlands were known for their exemplary type and temperament. Jane was known for her dedication to the sport and the breed. She was even honored with the Gaines Medal for Good Sportsmanship by the Newfoundland Club of America.  Jane will be sorely missed by the sport, and all who knew her.
