Joseph Baffuto Elected New Chief Financial Officer of AKC

New York, NY – The Board of Directors of the American Kennel Club is pleased to announce the election of Joseph Baffuto to the executive position of Chief Financial Officer. Baffuto steps into the role effective immediately.

Joe Baffuto joined the AKC in 2000 and has served as AKC Controller since 2008, with responsibility for the Accounting and Finance Department. He earned his BS in Business Administration, Finance, and Economics from Pace University, and an MBA in Marketing from Fordham University.

“For over a decade, Joe Baffuto has proven his steadfast commitment to the American Kennel Club. We have complete confidence that he will bring our business even greater success, and are thrilled to welcome him into this important role,” said Dennis Sprung, President and CEO. “We are also grateful for his predecessor Peter Farnsworth’s service and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
