CBS Sacramento Reports on Air Canada’s Response to Missing Italian Greyhound
According to CBS Sacramento, while Jutta Kulic was traveling to the Italian Greyhound Club of America National Specialty in Sacramento, she stopped in San Francisco to ship an Italian Greyhound, Larry, to a pet home in Canada through the airline, Air Canada. Kulic zip tied the crate and gave instructions to not open the crate door. After realizing that Larry’s flight had been rescheduled, an Air Canada employee took Larry for a walk. During this walk, Larry escaped and ran away. The employee was unable to find the Italian Greyhound.
When CBS questioned Air Canada about the incident, they received a very unusual response – a response that was not meant for CBS. Air Canada stated “I think I would just ignore, it is a local news doing a story on a lost dog. Their entire government is shut down and about to default and this is how the US media spends its time.”
