Around The Rings: Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America Performance Events

The Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America is celebrating a significant milestone this week—its 30th year with the American Kennel Club and the 30th National Specialty, held at Hueston Woods in College Corner, Ohio.

This year’s Specialty has drawn the largest entry in the club’s history, with over 250 Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs participating in a wide range of events and activities.

Attached are a few photos highlighting moments from earlier in the week, including the pack hike, scent trial, and drafting events—showcasing the breed’s versatility, working ability, and strong sense of community.

The celebration continues throughout the week with Obedience, Rally, Futurity, Sweepstakes, the Top 20 Showcase, and Conformation.
