The New York Times Introduces New Pet Monitoring System

The New York Times highlighted a new video monitoring system that can be used for pets called Dropcam.

Dropcam allows dog owners to easily monitor pets while away on their smartphone through high definition video streaming. It is easy to use and the home camera works off of a local Wi-Fi network.  Dropcam also has a two way talk capability, allowing owners to communicate with their pets or pet sitters while away. There is also a unique capability to receive alerts and notifications when a pet is in certain areas, such as on the counter or coach.

Check out The New York Times video on how to use the Dropcam here.
