Remembering Constance Barton

It is with great sorrow that we report the passing of longtime American Kennel Club judge and former American Kennel Club field representative, Constance Barton. Mrs. Barton passed away at her home in Winchester, Virginia on Thursday, October 17, 2013.

Mrs. Barton was a judge of Best in Show, all Sporting, Hound, Working and Terrier breeds. Prior to becoming a judge, Mrs. Barton was the second woman to be a field representative for the American Kennel Club. Mrs. Barton judged at the most prestigious shows in the country, including Best in Show at the 2002 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship and the Working Group at the 2008 Westminster Kennel Club.

All funeral services will be private.
