Show Cancellation: 2020 Turkey Cluster
Due to ongoing concerns with our ability to meet all of the COVID19 safety protocols for indoor AKC Conformation Shows, Catoctin Kennel Club and Upper Marlboro Kennel Club have made the painful decision to cancel the Turkey Cluster in November 2020 at the Howard County Fairgrounds. A huge thank you to the members of the Show Committee, especially Show Chairman Jeff Margeson, in their attempts to make these Conformation Shows go on as usual in November. Whitney Coombs and Carol Lingley also worked diligently during this process. Let’s look forward to another Turkey Cluster in 2021.
We would also like to update the membership on two AKC Performance events THAT WILL be held in the upcoming months. CKC will be holding their first AKC FAST CAT trial in Finksburg, Maryland on September 30 and October 1st, pending AKC approval. And, our Obedience/Rally trial is something we can all look forward to come November 27, 28 and 29th at our building.
