Remembering Darrell Hayes

We received the sad news that Darrell Hayes passed away last week following a heart attack.

Mr Hayes was closely associated with the sport of purebred dogs. His duties during his years at the American Kennel Club included being the Vice President of Dog Show Judges and an Executive Field Representative. In 1996, he began overseeing the Judging Operations and the Conformation Field Staff. He was also closely association with Judges education and the AKC Registered Handlers Program. He retired from the American Kennel Club in 2012.

The Canine Chronicle extends our condolences to Darrell’s family and friends following his passing. He will be missed.
