New Series “Life at Vet U” To Premiere On Animal Planet
Experience the challenges and triumphs of Penn Vet students on their journey to becoming veterinarians!
Over the past academic year, Animal Planet shadowed six Penn Vet students with diverse backgrounds and goals as they completed the demanding fourth and final year of their degree program, treating animal patients of all sizes, and learning from pioneers of veterinary medicine.
The result, Life at Vet U, is an exciting, behind-the-scenes docu-series about Penn Vet. The six-part series premieres on Saturday, October 1, 2016, and airs Saturdays at 10pm ET/PT on Animal Planet.
“Vet students driven by a mission to heal and protect animals take everything they’ve learned and put it to the test in this series,” said Rich Ross, Group President of Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and Science Channel.
“Life at Vet U gives our viewers a front row seat to this journey.” Life at Vet U was shot on location at Penn Vet’s Ryan Hospital for companion animals in Philadelphia, and New Bolton Center hospital for large animals in Kennett Square, PA.
