AKC Education to Offer Fun, Virtual Classes for Dog-Loving Kids

New York, NY – The American Kennel Club (AKC) is excited to announce an innovative new learning opportunity for children with online learning platform Outschool. Outschool offers online classes in a variety of different subject areas, giving children the unique opportunity to explore classes in topics they may be interested in.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Outschool to help children foster their passion for all things dog,” said Ashley Jacot, Director of Education. “We plan to make these classes fun and engaging for all dog-loving kids!”

AKC Public Education will offer visual classes taught live for kids who love dogs and want to learn more about them. Classes will be offered weekly, kicking off with a Meet The Breed series. Other topics include responsible dog ownership, dog breeds and groups, an About the Sport series, and more. There will be two sections for each class – 5-7 year olds and 8-12 year olds. Prices range from $8-$12.
