Union County Toddler Fights Salmonella After Family Dogs Ate Contaminated Dog Food
Brian and Elizabeth Hall’s daughter, Amy, is a carrier of a contagious form of salmonella that appears every few weeks.
She became a carrier of salmonella from the family’s dogs, which were infected from eating contaminated dog food from Diamond Pet Foods plant in Gaston, SC. The family dogs became ill immediately after eating the Diamond dog food and Amy became ill at just a month old.
Brian and Elizabeth have sued Diamond Pet Foods, who they hold responsible.
