Happy Birthday Damara Bolte

From lengthy success as a supervisory Animal Scientist at the National Institutes of Health to a remarkable artist that studied sculpture in Paris under Messr. C. Delhommeau, we send Damara Bolté the happiest of birthday wishes!

 Damara is a legend as not only a professional handler (AKC #3), but also as one of the highest-regarded breeders and mentors in the Basenji breed. She has bred and handled many Basenjis to the coveted Best In Show award including Ch. Reveille Re Up, the first and only Basenji to win the hound group at Westminster KC. Damara has been a major supporter of the Basenji Club of America’s African Stock Project by venturing to the indigenous land of the Basenji: the Congo.

 Damara has made a significant contribution to the canine world, and we wish her the very best in health and happiness. Happy Birthday, Damara!
