Cahaba Valley Kennel Club FAST CAT Trial – May 22nd – May 24th

The Cahaba Valley Kennel Club hosted a three day FAST CAT trial this past weekend, May 22nd through 24th. The FAST CAT trial was held at the Lonesome Dove event center, a unique local event center that has welcomed canine events.

The Cahaba Valley Kennel Club holds an annual All Breed conformation dog show each year in November in Montgomery, Alabama. Martha Wixom, President of the Cahaba Valley Kennel Club felt holding the FAST CAT trial would help the club try new safety measures in preparation for their November show.

The trial had an excellent turnout with nearly 300 qualifying runs over the three days. The club enforced social distancing, supplied hand sanitizer, and enhanced cleaning protocols.
