One of the best ways to improve at anything is to recognize your strengths and weaknesses. This can be challenging at best and nearly impossible at worst.

So, how do you do it? Start with a question: “If you could change or fix one thing about yourself, what would it be?”

In a conversation between professional and owner-handlers in an online forum, many people watched the conversation and comparatively few responded. That’s how tough that question can be. It requires examining yourself honestly, even the parts of yourself that you try to forget about, and also requires answering the question with brutal honesty. You can’t improve if you don’t first admit to the need to improve.
