Remembering Barbara Keenan

It is with great sadness that we report the recent passing of Barbara Keenan of Middletown, Connecticut. She was a highly respected and knowledgeable judge of all Terrier and Toy Breeds, Beagles, English Cocker Spaniels, as well as Best in Show and Junior Showmanship.

Before becoming an esteemed AKC judge, Barbara Keenan was a successful breeder and exhibitor of West Highland White Terriers and Beagles. Notably, she owned the 1962 Westminster Best in Show Winner, West Highland White Terrier, Ch. Elfinbrook Simon.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her daughter, Patty Keenan, and all of our friends and family at this difficult time. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
