Remembering Arlene Benko

The Canine Chronicle is saddened to report the recent passing of Mrs. Arlene Benko of Cape Coral, Florida

We received the sad news that AKC judge Mrs. Arlene Benko passed away today, May 12th, 2017. Mrs. Benko was a judge of the Toy, Non-Sporting and Herding Group as well as Best in Show. As a breeder, she bred Collies and Pomeranians under the Blossom Heights prefix. She bred many champions in both breeds. She also dedicated much of her time as a member of the Collie Club of America, American Pomeranian Club, Toy Dob Club of Palm Beach and Southwest Florida Judges Study Group.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Arlene’s family and friends. She will be missed.
