Prize-Winning Show Dog Vanishes at Atlanta Airport – Update – Gale is Found!

WSB-TV 2, a local Atlanta news station has reported that an American Staffordshire Terrier that was traveling in the states for a dog show is missing from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport. The Am Staff, “Gale”, was traveling with her handlers to a dog show from Amsterdam.

KLM Airlines in the Netherlands had the following statement regarding the missing dog:

“A dog managed to break out of its cage as it was being loaded into the cargo of flight KL622 from Atlanta to Amsterdam on March 23. The dog’s owner had been notified. KLM expresses its sincerest regrets and is actively working with the Atlanta Airport to search for the dog.”
