Ocala to Become Year Round Equine Show Destination City

The World Equestrian Center South at Golden Ocala is bringing world class equestrian shows and facilities to Marion County Florida.

Adjacent to Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club property, 1000+ acres were acquired with the preliminary plan to develop small farms. Three hundred of those acres will be allotted for WEC South which includes: 3 giant indoor climate controlled arenas; 17 outdoor arenas; 2 polo fields and a Cross Country Eventing Course. 1200 large and comfortable stalls for our equine athletes as well as vendor village a restaurant and more are all part of this amazing venture.

This show facility will host 24 shows per year, effectively doubling the current equestrian season. WEC South will also cater to all equine disciplines thus insuring Ocala as the true Horse Capital of the World.

This is great news for Ocala and particularly for Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club. With townhomes starting in the high $300′s and luxury homes up into the millions, there are plenty of choices to be found in this resort style community. Dog Show Venue and More – Host Your Event with Us!

At World Equestrian Center (WEC) we host an array of different events. We have the resources to turn your occasion into a spectacular one. Our facility can serve as a dog show venue and is home to many equestrian events that happen throughout the year, and all visitors are sure to mark their calendars for a visit back.

In partnership with Roberts Centre and Eukanuba Hall, WEC is available for dog shows and competitions in Southwest Ohio. In preparation of our dog shows we wet and roll the footing so that it is a hard surface. This allows for a safe and comfortable event for your canine friend.
