Eugene Kennel Club Dissolves as of November 30, 2017
The Eugene Kennel Club made the following announcement on August 5th regarding their decision to dissolve the kennel club:
“Regretfully the Eugene Kennel Club must announce that due to a lack of working members we are forced to dissolve our Club. It takes many members that are willing to work in order to put on dog shows, handling classes, health clinics, public outreach, meetings and all other events that one associates with the mission of an All-Breed Kennel Club. Our small membership has worked hard to preserve the Eugene Kennel Club these past several years, however, by a unanimous vote of our Board and over two thirds of our membership we have arrived at the inevitable decision that we cannot continue on.
We will look forward to greeting you one last time at our annual AKC show held at Pioneer Park in Brownsville, Oregon. Mark your calendars and join us on September 9th & 10th, 2017.
